The Royal Yangzis

Introduction: Our sub-question was: "Were the Brazilian disasters which caused change in Brazil the same as the ones in Graded?" There were lots of disasters in Brazil. The three most important ones were the Devil's Railroad, Amazon Deforestation, and the Gol airplane disaster.Yangzis 15 will cover the Gol disaster. Yangzis 16 will look at deforestation.Yangzis 12 lwill ook at the Devil’s Railroad.

Gol Disaster: The three facts that were important about the Gol airplane disaster. Was it a human’s fault? I think it was the Lexus airplane driver fault because really important equipment was turned off and it should have been turned on. Another one was the amount of people who died was about 154 people. Finally, who was the guilty? Was it the Lexus airplane which only had Americans? These were the three main facts.

Deforestation:  One of the huge disasters in Brazil which is taking place in Brazil at the moment is the deforestation. "Most of the people that cut down trees, or burn them are poor people looking for a better way of life"..."A logger may have to cut down hundreds of "useless" trees to reach the one tree he wants." Not only have trees amount have been reduced, the Indians have also lost many lands. In the present day, there are a estimated of two hundred thousand Indians, and when the Europeans came the were over two million Indians. Siy, Alexandra. The Brazilian Rainforest. New York. Dillon Press, 1992.

Devil’s Railroad. One of the Brazilian disasters was the Devil's railroad. It all started in the Amazon. Millions of people died on the construction of the Devil's Railroad. That is why they call it The Devil’s Rail Road. They say that all the tiles represent the millions of people that died in the construction. Indians wanted to steal pieces of the train so they got electrocuted and died. They finished the construction in 40 years.

Conclusion: Did the Brazilian disasters cause the same change in Brazil as they did in Graded? Others may think no ,but, we think that all of the changes in Brazil have effected Graded school in one way or another. It is ust the impact of some of them is larger than others. For example, the PCC was and still is a problem in Brazil. It has caused the whole country to be more careful and more secured. Graded is being part of Brazil. It made sure that the  guards are more careful. For example, the guards would let you cross the street without one of them or the parent even if the parent was on the other side, now they do.
